In the era of circularity, characterised by a growing awareness of environmental challenges, architects and designers are ever increasingly promoting sustainable design. As the world moves towards net-zero goals, office spaces are no longer seen as simple places of work, but as true frontiers of circular innovation. In this new paradigm, every element of office design, from the planning of spaces to furniture, is an integral part of an ambitious sustainability challenge.

According to research by JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated), a member of the Fortune 500®, demand for sustainable buildings is growing, while a recent survey by PwC has revealed that 86% of employees prefer working for companies that show a strong commitment to environmental and social matters.

This trend is pushing the world of office design towards low-environmental-impact solutions such as, for example, eco-friendly furniture, photovoltaic systems and low-solvent-content paints in order to eliminate the release of volatile organic compounds into the atmosphere.

Adopting a sustainable approach of this nature not only helps to reduce CO2 emissions, but also contributes to helping companies to attract talent and increase market competitiveness.
